Rolling bearing steels are characterized by a high degree of hardness, service life, wear resistance and dimensional stability. Due to these good properties, these alloys are used for components subject to wear in mechanical engineering and in the automotive industry. They find their use e.g. B. as ball, roller and needle bearings and in wear-stressed components such as pump shafts.
