Why does the result change when I pick a grade instead of a material class?

Because density varies by grade — the material class value is a generic average, only used as a fallback when no specific grade is chosen.

What happens if I enter a diameter of 0?

The calculator refuses the input — diameter must be at least 0.1 mm — rather than returning a zero or undefined result.

What if two grades share the same designation?

The calculator shows both and asks you to pick — it never silently guesses which one you meant.
